The Mighty Watchung Conference delivers yet another round of storied bigtime Union County hoops this evening on Raritan Road.
RC, in spite of a host of outbound transfers, has found itself in the last week with big wins over top ten teams in Union Catholic and Don Bosco Prep. Their guard play will be key to victory for them this evening.
Elizabeth just keeps churning along and doing so in dominant fashion. Guards a plenty and some developing frontcourt depth behind JoJo Torres gives the Minutemen all the pieces to make a run at the #1 ranking at some point this season.
The point guard battle between RC's Jalen Grant and Elizabeth senior Cam McRae should be a good one.
JD Core Training North Jersey Game Of The Day

Get there early. We could stop there...but won't.
A storied rivalry in all sports, it's two of the best in the Garden State. Brady Loughlin, Jordan Ghee and Don Bosco have played and defeated top in state and out of state talent, including Rutgers Prep, Gill St Bernards and Imani Christian of Pittsburgh.
Led by 6'8" Fairfield commit Declan Wucherpfennig, Bergen Catholic has depth at all positions and also holds a number of quality results thusfar, including their 22 point win over Rutgers Prep.
Camden Catholic have been dominant in the early portion of the season with senior Luke Kennevan having a big start to his final HS campaign. They're yet to have a game in single digits.
Camden High has taken a tumble in our rankings in the last few days, but awaits the additions of several transfers who will impact their season and likely rocket them back up the ladder. Emmanuel Joe Samuel is a talented guard leading the way. The most notable newcomer in waiting is 6'8" senior David Munro.
St Joe's Montvale(3-3) vs #23 Paramus Catholic(5-3), 7P
Both teams enter this one battle tested and having played top tier competition almost every single night. Each team owns notable victories--St Joe's has wins over Immaculate and Delbarton; PC has that opening night win over St Rose on its top line.
Eastern(8-1) vs Cherry Hill East(8-0) 345P
Two teams in the Group IV Top Ten will do battle in a marquee public school battle this afternoon. Freshman Jamieson Young is leading CHE in scoring and is a prospect to watch. Eastern counters with Kaedon Harper-Myricks.
